   The main goal of NRHM( National Rural Health Mission) or Arogyakeralam is to improve the availability of and access to quality healthcare by people especially for those residing in rural areas the poor, women and children.

Main objectives are:

• Reduction in infant mortality rate (IMR) and maternal mortality.
• Universal access to public health services such as women's health, child health, water, sanitation & hygiene, immunisation and nutrition. 
• Prevention and control of communicable and non-communicable diseases including locally endemic diseases.
• Access to integrated comprehensive primary health care
• Population stabilisation, gender, and demographic balance.
• Revitalise local health traditions and mainstream AYUSH
• Promotion of healthy lifestyles.

Arogyakeralam or NRHM invites nurses to join their journey to fulfil these goals.

Required Qualification:

• B.Sc.Nursing/ GNM
• Kerala nursing council registration and BCCPN from govt. institutions.

Age limit: 

 Below 40 years as on 01-02-2018

Written examination of staff nurse post under National Health Mission, Kozhikode on           15-02-2018 at govt.nursing college, Medical college, Kozhikode at 10.00 AM

General terms and conditions :

1. Selection will be based on qualification, experience and performance in the written test and interview.
2. The successful candidates will be appointed on contract basis for a period of three months. The District Health & Family Welfare Society Kozhikode may at its discretion based on the performance and integrity of the successful candidate extend the period of the contract.
3. The selected candidate may governed by the rules and regulations of NHM in force from time to time.
4. Registration will be closed by 9.30 am on the day of Interview.
5. Shortlisted candidates of the written examination will be published in Arogyakeralam website should attend the interview on 17-02-2018 at DPM Office, National Health Mission, Civil station ,Kozhikode.
6. Candidates are requested to bring originals and passport copies of all ID Proof and certificates prescribed as per qualification.
