STAFF NURSE VACANCY IN SREE CHITRA HOSPITAL TRIVANDRUM 2018
Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for medical sciences & technology invites nurses for the post of 'Research Nurse'. It is based on a research in Wayanad. The research named Mobile telemedicine.
So candidates those who are attending this post are willing to travel and work in Wayanad.
Essential eligibility for the post :
- B.Sc.Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of work experience as a staff nurse or research nurse.
- Willingness to relocate to Wayanad district throughout the Project period.
- Willingness to travel extensively, especially in tribal areas, in Wayanad district during the research period.
- Willingness to learn and apply new technologies in healthcare.
Desirable qualification and experience:
- Preference will be given to those from Wayanad district.
- Prior experience with tribes.
- Work experience in field studies.
- Experience in working in Wayanad district.
Age limit as on - 31-01-2018:- 35 years
Tenure of appointment: One year(Extendable) or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
Type of appointment: Temporary (Contract basis)
Job description:
In the initial phase, the nurse will be posted along with the consultants in various hospitals in the Wayanad district to get familiar with their clinical work. Later he/she will be posted in one of the two telemedicine vans which in turn will go to the telemedicine vans which in turn will go to the PHC/CHCs on a regular basis. The nurse should help the junior medical officer to facilitate the history taking, examination and clinical sample collection of the patient as per the instruction of the remote consultant, He/she is entrusted with documentation duties including informed consent taking. Women candidates are preferred.
