 Job description : 

Provide evidence-based, holistic and patient and family-focused patient care by applying the nursing process to postoperative patients.

Required skills:

Clinical and technical skills pertaining to the area of expertise, excellent people skills, good communication and observation, ability to answer questions and offer advice and happy to work as a part of a team, dealing with emotionally charged situations.

PACU

Duties and responsibilities:

• Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and accountability for own actions. 
• Asses plan and deliver care base on the individual patient and family needs, and ensure standards are met.
• Maintain accurate nursing records of patient care meeting the hospital standards of documentation.
• Provide patients and families with information regarding the care and management of their condition.
• Early recognition of the clinical condition and take appropriate action.

NURSE L &D

Duties and responsibilities:

• Provide advice, support, care for women and their babies during pregnancy, labour and early postnatal period.
• Provide health education and parenting support immediately after delivery.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Able to asses and monitor patients under anaesthesia.
• Proficient in operating equipment required for patient care.
• Proficient in maintaining aseptic technique.
• Proficient in adult, pediatric, neonatal resuscitation.
• Assists registrars, Anesthesiologist and consultants with assessments and procedures.
• Prepare equipment, medications and machinery needed to provide anaesthesia.
• Prepare, maintain, transport and clean equipment required for nursing care of patients.
